The optional heating jacket allows filtration at temperatures up to 300°C. Filtration is carried out using sintered filter plates with various pore sizes; custom filter papers or filter fleeces can also be used.

Büchi pressure filters are often used in combination with our reactors for the separation of solids after synthesis.
The Büchi pressure filter chute allows pressure filtration between -1 and 60 bar. The optional heating jacket guarantees controlled temperatures up to max. 300°C during filtration.
The cover plate can be opened quickly and easily using clamp screws, and the filter basket is removed using robust handles on the basket. This allows the filter cake to be removed safely and easily.
The use of interchangeable sintered filter plates with selectable pore size means that almost any filtration can be carried out. The flexible sealing system means that filter paper or filter fleece used on site can also be used.
The sintered filter plate then serves as a support for the filter paper.
In addition to the prescribed safety device of a bursting disc, the cover plate can be equipped with additional fittings and sensors.
Tri-Clamp nozzles are provided for the inlet of the suspensions, which can be opened quickly and easily and fulfil the hygienic requirements of the FDA. Of course, other connections can also be provided.

Options and Accessories
• Heating jacket for controlled temperatures during filtration. An external thermostat must be connected.
• Additional fittings or sensors, for example for temperature measurement, can be fitted to the top plate.
• A hand-held stirrer for smoothing or breaking up the filter cake with a magnetic coupling (safe, pressure-resistant seal) is available.
• Frame with vessel lift and stirrer drive – for ease of operation or when using a stirrer drive, a frame is available in which the cover plate is fixed. This ergonomic variant further simplifies handling.
