About C3 Prozess- und Analysentechnik
C3 Process and Analysis Technology GmbH was founded in 1986. Since then, we have seen ourselves as a specialized distribution partner for complex systems and components in the fields of laboratory, pilot plant, and industrial production. Our focus is on technically demanding applications where expertise, experience, and personal consultation are essential.
We primarily operate in the DACH region and support our customers throughout the entire lifecycle of a solution. From pre-purchase consulting to installation and training, as well as service, support, and application consulting during ongoing operations, we are a reliable partner at every stage.
Our Markets and Applications
With our deliberately selective and in some cases highly specialized product portfolio, we primarily serve niche markets. These include industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, materials research, renewable energy, automotive, food, and mechanical engineering. Our strength lies in understanding complex requirements and working together with our partners and customers to implement practical solutions.

Company Foundation of C3
Helmut G. Wörner establishes C3 Analysentechnik GmbH as a distribution company for complex products. The first products include optical gratings and pH measurement technology. The company is based in Vaterstetten.
Analytica
C3 participates for the first time as an exhibitor at analytica in Munich. Since then, we have been present at every event, in recent years together with Büchi as a co-exhibitor.
Kalorimetrie
Expansion of the product portfolio in the field of calorimetry and the determination of thermophysical properties, supporting strong brands such as SEIKO and Thermometric AB.
Achema
First participation at Achema in Frankfurt, and since then a regular exhibitor at the event.

Since 1995, we have been informing our customers with the C3 newsletter, providing interesting insights into applications, products, and events, for many years as a printed publication and now, of course, in electronic form.
Portfolio expansion with the Swedish company Hot Disk AB
Our portfolio in the field of thermophysical property measurement is expanded through the Swedish company Hot Disk AB, a world-leading developer and manufacturer of thermal conductivity measurement devices.
Portfolio expansion through GAMRY Instruments
We expand our portfolio in the field of electrochemistry and take over the distribution and support for the systems from Gamry Instruments – Electrochemistry – State of the Art.
Portfolio expansion through Spex Fluxer
With the specialized mills and electric fusion systems, we expand our portfolio in the field of laboratory technology.
Location Haar bei München
Our headquarters relocate to Haar near Munich, with six additional home offices ensuring close customer proximity in our sales region.
Collaboration with Büchi AG in Germany
C3 becomes the exclusive distribution partner of Büchi AG in Germany. The company name is extended with “Process” to reflect the expanded customer base.
Collaboration with THINKY Corporation aus Japan
C3 takes over the distribution and support for the contactless centrifugal mixers from the Japanese company THINKY Corporation.
Collaboration with the University of Regensburg
We collaborate with the University of Regensburg on the development of an electrochemical quartz microbalance. The patented system is distributed worldwide by our partner Gamry Instruments.
Portfolio expansion with accessory program from ALS
The accessory program of the Japanese company ALS has complemented our electrochemistry systems perfectly since 2010.

We are revising our logo.
Portfolio expansion with Kolibrik from the Czech Republic
The expansion in the field of electrochemistry continues. The potentiostats from Kolibrik in the Czech Republic operate at high currents and enable applications in areas such as hydrogen research and electrolysis.
