Additive manufacturing: Production of optimised slurries for bath-based photopolymerisation (VPP-LED)
Bath-based photopolymerisation (also known as VPP_LED) is an additive manufacturing process that enables the production of individual components with high surface qualities and large geometric degrees of freedom. Typical for this type of process is the high demand for homogenisation and reproducibility in the slurry production of the starting materials. The wbk Institute for Production Technology at KIT uses a THINKY centrifugal mixer for this purpose.
