Accessories for SPR systems
Accessories for SPR systems
Microscope slides for your applicationBioNavi’s high-quality MP-SPR slides (sensor slides) are compatible with all MP-SPR Navi™ instruments and enable precise and reliable measurements.
Product Description
We offer a diverse range of sensor surfaces tailored to various measurement requirements.
The user-friendly sensor slide holder of the MP-SPR instruments enables effortless ex-situ functionalization of sensor slides using techniques such as spin-coating, Langmuir-Blodgett (Lb), self-assembly, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), or atomic layer deposition (ALD).
We would be happy to assist you in selecting the right sensor.

Options and Accessories
Gold (Au) sensor slides offer a versatile platform and are typically used for biosensor development, thin-film characterization, and cell studies.
Other metals and typical application areas
- Aluminum (Al) sensor slides – Electrochemistry, energy
- Silver (Ag) sensor slides – Antimicrobial coatings, electrochemistry
- Platinum (Pt) sensor slides – Electrochemistry, energy
- Copper (Cu) sensor slides – Antifouling, antimicrobial coating, electronics, graphene
- Nickel (Ni) sensor slides – Corrosion, medical devices
- Chromium (Cr) sensor slides – Coatings, electronics
- Rhodium (Rh) sensor slides – Electronics, optics
Inorganic oxide-coated slides feature a functional coating on top of a plasmonic layer (typically gold). The sensors can be used as-is or undergo further coating *ex situ*.
Silicon dioxide (SiO₂) layer on gold
Coatings, particularly antifouling coatings, nanocellulose, glass-like coatings for bioassays, and the simple deposition of lipid bilayers
- Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) layer on gold – Medical implants, biomaterials
- Aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) layer on gold – Materials science, environmental applications
- Indium tin oxide (ITO) on gold – Solar cells, semiconductors
- Hafnium oxide (HfO₂) on gold – Semiconductors
- Custom inorganic sensor
Sensors for biomolecular interactions
A wide range of functionalized sensors is available for life science research and biosensor development.
Select the surface based on the ligand’s functional groups, such as amine, thiol, biotin, or histidine. In addition, optimize the binding capacity of the surface according to the size of the analyte molecules, such as small molecules, antibodies, viruses, or nanoparticles.
