Product Description
The SEC2120 spectrometer was specially designed for spectro-electrochemical measurements. The modular combination of spectrometer and beam source allows flexible use in the UV/Vis/NIR range. The collimators are integrated in the normal set-up, so that no optical fibres are required for the normal set-up. For measurements in standard cuvettes and the SEC-C spectro-electrochemical cells, the light source and spectrometer are connected directly via the cuvette holder.
When using the SEC-3F flow-through cell, this is used instead of the cell holder and the light is guided from the beam source with integrated collimator through the measuring cell to the spectrometer.
Fibres can be attached to the spectrometer and the beam source so that the cell holder and the flow cell are decoupled from the devices and can be used in glove boxes, for example. In addition, immersion and reflection probes, for example, can also be used with the systems.The spectrometer module and the light source can also be used with the cuvette holder in a 90 degree arrangement for fluorescence and reflection measurements.
When combined with potentiostats, the system offers a trigger input for synchronising the optical and electrochemical measurements.
Comprehensive and clear spectroscopy software SEC Spectra™, which offers spectra comparison, quantification, kinetic analyses, etc., is supplied with the system.
