ALS working electrodes
ALS working electrodes
Working electrodes for various applications such as CV, LSV and DPVALS offers a wide range of working electrodes made from various materials and in a variety of sizes. Microelectrodes for small sample volumes and rapid measurements, as well as mesh electrodes with larger surface areas, are available.
Product Description
The working electrodes can be used for a wide range of electrochemical analyses such as cyclic voltammetry CV, linear sweep voltammetry LSV or differential pulse voltammetry DPV.
The standard working electrodes are made of stable and inert PEEK and are therefore easy to polish. They are available with different electrode materials and diameters. Customised versions are available on request.
Microelectrodes are made of glass and are used in electrochemistry, e.g. for fast scans or very small sample volumes.
The different metals and carbon electrodes offer specific properties. For example, pyrolytic graphite electrodes are used because of their special adsorption properties, copper and iron for corrosion tests and platinum because of hydrogen adsorption and the possibility of H2O2 detection. With the carbon paste electrodes, electrodes can be produced after mixing the substance to be investigated, e.g. a catalyst, with the carbon paste, which then enables targeted electrochemical characterisation.
