Safety and flexibility with small glass and steel reactorsA highly flexible, modular pressure reactor system for a wide range of applications involving small batches in the 50–300 ml range. The robust stainless steel frame with a polycarbonate door also allows for safe pressure reactions using glass pressure vessels.
The safety quick-release fastener enables rapid vessel changes or cleaning – without the need for tools.
Product Description
The Picoclave is a complete, highly flexible small autoclave with magnetic stirrer drive, interchangeable pressure vessels and lid assemblies.
Despite the small size of the system, 6 lid openings are available to customise the Picoclave to your needs.
Four different vessel types in the volume range between 50 and 300 ml can be used. Glass pressure reactors up to 10 bar are available for low pressures, while the robust stainless steel frame with polycarbonate door provides the necessary safety and visibility. For higher pressures, the matching type 3 or type 4 steel reactors with sight glass can be used. The quick-release fastener allows the pressure vessel to be opened quickly and easily without the use of tools and enables the vessel to be changed quickly.
The powerful Cyclone 075 magnetic stirrer drive ensures efficient mixing of the process media and heat input, as well as stable process temperatures. The control unit of the Cyclone 075 offers a speed and torque display and various interfaces for data recording.
Thanks to the large number of openings in the cover plate, the cover structure can be customised to your requirements. A large selection of pressure reactor accessories is available for this purpose. Additional sensors can also be fitted and the respective data displayed and processed by the Büchi display units.

Options and Accessories
• Temperature control can be achieved either via a double jacket or the optional electric heater with integrated water cooling and PID controller.
