The Büchi Cyclone is available in versions rated up to 75 Ncm and up to 300 Ncm.
Product Description
The cyclone 075 dc and cyclone 300 ac drive units are controlled by a control unit which, in addition to displaying the parameters, also offers convenient control and programming (e.g. ramps) of the agitator.
The speed range extends from 0 to 2000 rpm, i.e. even very low speeds can be set precisely. In addition, the torque is always determined, which can be conveniently read in and saved via the bls software, for example.
The drives are available in stainless steel or Hastelloy as standard. On request, the drives are also available with the parts of the magnetic coupling/stirring shaft/stirring element that come into contact with the product made of tantalum, for example.
For metal-free applications, Büchi has developed a unique magnetic coupling whose wetted parts are made of ceramic and inert plastics.

Options and Accessories
• For non-pressurised applications, the cyclone 075 is available with an NS 29/32 thread.
• In very extreme conditions (e.g. continuous operation, heavy agitators, etc.), ceramic ball bearings can be
used instead of the tried-and-tested plain bearings.
• High-pressure variants – for pressures above 300 bar, the magnetic couplings are usually welded to the cover plate.
• ATEX-compliant magnetic stirrer drives, in-line or side-mounted – depending on space requirements and the torque required
• For metal-free applications in the low-viscosity range, the Cyclone <> is a compact and cost-effective solution. For higher viscosities, optionally with data acquisition, the Cyclone 250 <> is the ideal solution. All components in contact with the product are made of ceramic; based on the proven Büchi magnetic couplings, the system delivers 250 Ncm.
