Measurement, control and regulation components are used in glass processing plants in the same way as in metal processing plants. Depending on the operator’s requirements, either just the basic parameters – pressure, temperature and speed – or a wide range of parameters can be recorded and analysed.

Product Description

I&C components (measurement, control and regulation components) are used in glass process plants in the same way as in metal process plants. Depending on the interests of the operator, only the basic parameters of pressure, temperature and speed or a variety of parameters (pH, conductivity, torque, fill level, oxygen content, etc.) can be recorded and analysed.

All parameters, from temperature and pressure to speed, can be recorded in explosion-proof and inert glass or plastic. The fittings, which are also made of glass and PTFE, can be controlled manually, remotely or automatically.
Depending on customer requirements, explosion-proof local displays or multi-channel displays can be installed in the safe area. Fully automated systems with recipe control require a very intensive design phase and can be realised for both explosion-protected and explosion-free areas.

MiniPilot: The MiniPilot (2–15 litres) is a glass reactor (glass stirring system) which can be used for stirring, extraction, phase separation, homogenisation, concentration, etc. The glass apparatus is housed in a sturdy stainless steel frame.

MidiPilot: The MidiPilot series (15–30 litres) comprises a chemical reactor (glass stirring reactor) which can be used for stirring, extraction, phase separation, distillation, homogenisation, concentration, etc. The apparatus consists of a glass vessel, a coated lid and glass fittings. The components are housed in a sturdy stainless steel frame.

BR series: The BR series (15–60 (100) litres) comprises a chemical reactor (glass stirred reactor) which can be used for stirring, extraction, phase separation, distillation, homogenisation, concentration, etc. The apparatus consists of a glass vessel and glass fittings. The components are housed in a sturdy stainless steel frame.

GR series: The GR series (15–60 (100) litres) is a glass reactor (glass stirring system) which can be used for stirring, extraction, phase separation, distillation, homogenisation, concentration, etc. The glass apparatus is housed in a sturdy stainless steel frame.
CR series: The CR series (15–250 litres) comprises a chemical reactor (stirred reactor) which can be used for stirring, extraction, phase separation, distillation, homogenisation, concentration, etc. The apparatus consists of an enamelled steel vessel and glass components. The components are housed in a sturdy stainless steel frame.

Filter funnels
: Buchi filter funnels can be used to separate solids from the fluid after the reaction.
Gas scrubbers
: The Buchi gas scrubber can be used to purify the exhaust gases produced during the reaction.
