Since BüchiGlasUster AG was founded, the büchiflex glass joint has been the guarantee of vacuum- and pressure-tight glass apparatus and systems in laboratories, pilot plants and production facilities … the joint is reliably tight and easy to use.

Product Description

The unique büchiflex glass joint connects two glass components by means of a tight-fitting PTFE seal. The seal is lightly pressed onto the ball and can therefore no longer slip. This technical trick and the high quality standards in the manufacture of the individual components enable Büchi glass systems to be reproducibly tight, safe and quick to install or convert, and assembly times are massively reduced.

The perfectly matched components (spherical and cup ground joints) are connected to each other by means of a screw connection, which is available in different versions (coated, uncoated). According to many of our long-standing customers, the resulting pressure and vacuum tightness is unrivalled in glass plant construction.

The resulting advantages for the user are obvious:

– Environmental and employee protection through no to significantly reduced exposure from the chemical system

– Product protection by avoiding entry/contamination into the chemical process plant

The Büchi-Flex glass components can optionally be modified with various glass coatings. Depending on the application environment, the Büchi glass system thus receives scratch and splinter protection which significantly increases the emergency running properties and/or enables increased electrical conductivity.
