We offer various options, such as convection ovens or chamber ovens, for Hot Disk measurements at temperatures other than room temperatureA range of temperature control options is available. Using bath thermostats, convection ovens, and even chamber and tunnel furnaces, we cover a temperature range from -40°C to 1000°C. When using the appropriate controllers, the user can control the temperature directly via the Hot Disk software.
Product Description
Various alternatives are available for hot disc measurements that deviate from room temperature. As only the sample and sensor or sample holder with sample and sensor need to be placed in an oven or climatic chamber, the user can often use existing temperature control equipment.
Irrespective of this, we offer different variants for measurements below or above room temperature.
Depending on the type, convection ovens work from slightly above room temperature up to 300°C, 400°C, 500°C or 600°C.
Bath thermostats cover the temperature range from -40°C to 200°C.
Chamber furnaces and tube furnaces – optionally with inserts for evacuation or purging with inert gas – operate from approx. 200°C to 1000°C.
Different sensor materials, sensor cables and corresponding sample holders are available for the various alternatives.
On request, we can equip the ovens/thermostats with controllers that enable temperature profiles to be controlled and programmed via the hot disc software. In this case, the test procedure can be controlled according to specifications or depending on measured parameters such as the sample temperature.
