SPEX Sampleprep 2060 Genoseal Microplate Sealing Device
SPEX Sampleprep 2060 Genoseal Microplate Sealing Device
For the quick and secure sealing of microtitre plates in the ANSI/SLAS standard format by heating the sealing film. The SPEX 2060 Genoseal semi-automatic sealing device can be used with all standard microtitre plates that comply with the ANSI/SLAS standard format. Sealing times for most plates are five seconds or less. Sealed plates are automatically ejected from the device once the sealing cycle is complete.
Product Description
For safe storage and to avoid contamination of valuable biological samples, it is important to seal the titer plate used absolutely tightly. This can only be guaranteed by the heat sealing method, in which the sealing film is heated to temperatures between 140°C and 180°C. With the semi-automatic SPEX 2060 Genoseal sealing device, all common titer plates that comply with the ANSI/SLAS standard format can be professionally and safely sealed within a few seconds.
The Genoseal is operated using a user-friendly touchscreen. For sealing, the titer plates are centred on the sample slide and this is inserted into the device. After programming the temperature and duration of the sealing process, the process can be started and the titer plate is sealed. Once the sealing process is complete, the sample slide automatically moves out of the device and the sealed titer plate can be removed.
