Thinky mixers are supplied as standard with a few reusable cups made from HDPE plastic. They are robust and offer the highest load capacity and leak-proof performance.The range includes disposable beakers, reusable beakers, as well as special beaker shapes and materials – each with matching adapters. In addition, various syringe adapters are available to effectively degas syringes that have already been filled homogeneously.
Choosing the right beaker plays a very important role in the success of the mixing process. For example, the wider the beaker, the greater the acceleration force acting on the sample. The fill level also plays a decisive role.

Brief description of available cups and adapters:
– Particularly high-quality reusable cups with inner and outer lids for maximum leak-tightness, made of HDPE, sizes 150, 300, 550, 650, 750, 1100 and 4000 ml
The reusable HDPE cups are supplied as standard with every Thinky blender. The main advantage is that there is one of these cups for each mixer, which can be used without an adapter. This means that the size of the cup holder is fully utilised. An adapter always means a reduction in the maximum load and filling volume. Even if the cup is only used with 10% of the maximum volume, you still benefit from the strong mixing force due to the high cup diameter, which has an exponential effect on the prevailing forces!
This is also the most environmentally friendly way to use the mixer. The cups are thick-walled and stable and can be cleaned in the dishwasher (except for water-polluting substances). The combination of press-on lid and screw-on lid ensures increased tightness.
Syringes are a special case as they combine small diameters with large heights. Mixing directly in syringes is therefore often not possible. However, degassing syringes works well with our vacuum devices.
