Thinky mixers can also be used with various disposable cups. These are ideal whenever cleaning the cups is too time-consuming or not possible.Thinky offers various types of disposable cups, most of which are made of polypropylene, such as our open-top disposable cups, which resemble standard disposable drinking cups.
For very small quantities, we recommend the screw-top containers ranging from 12 to 125 ml, which can be used for quantities as small as 1 ml. The 250 ml PP screw-top container offers the largest capacity available.

– Specially shaped adapters and cups, e.g. cups with a spike in the centre (W-shape in side view) for W200 disposable cups (net quantities of approx. 20-100 ml).
– Adapter for 7oz paper cups Ø72.6 x h79.3 mm (cups are not offered)
Each mixer has a holder of a defined size. We offer a wide range of different adapters to ensure that a wide variety of cup sizes can be used. In the vast majority of cases, we also offer matching cups for the respective adapters.
The choice of the right cup plays a very important role in the success of the mixing process. For example, the wider the beaker, the greater the acceleration force acting on the sample. The filling height also plays a decisive role. For example, most beakers should not be filled more than 50 % full for optimum mixing.

Our open PP disposable cups are particularly popular for applications involving resins or similar, as these cups can be pressed by hand for easier pouring.
Our range of accessories is characterised by great variety. For example, we also offer special cup shapes such as our “W-cups”, which have proven their worth for LED applications with low-viscosity silicones and heavy powders such as phosphorus, as the spike in the centre prevents powder from settling there.
Cooling adapters are also available, which can be precooled in the refrigerator or freezer compartment, e.g. to buffer exothermic effects during the mixing process. Alternatively, you can also use our stainless steel beakers with an insulating adapter. The latter protects the ball bearings of the cup holder from excessive heating.
