Thinky ENs-10

Product Description

The ENs-10 cooling module is a substructure module for small planetary centrifugal mixers from Thinky. Six large fans, with integrated dust filters, draw the warm air out of the mixer housing and reduce the temperature in the mixer housing by an average of 10 °C. This increases the service life of the most important wear parts such as drive belts and ball bearings, especially under high loads, i.e. long mixing times and/or high mixing frequency and high speeds.

Another problem with high mixing frequencies is the heating of the subsequent samples, as the drive belts and ball bearings already preheat the mixer’s cup holder. This can have a negative effect on the reproducibility of temperature-sensitive materials. The ENs-10 ensures a reduced temperature rise and shorter cooling times.

Certain applications that require multiple mixing at high speeds are significantly easier and faster to carry out thanks to cooling, as the cooling time between mixes is significantly reduced or even negated. Examples include high-viscosity silicones, medium-viscosity polyamides and the dispersion of phosphorus in resins. Further information can be found in the flyer (download area).

No additional socket is required. The device also provides the power supply for the mixer and has toggle switches for switching on the mixer and cooling.
