Mixing, homogenising, heating and degassing solder pastes without a vacuum in a single step.A planetary centrifugal mixer specially designed for solder pastes and similar media (e.g. screen printing). The superimposition of the two rotational movements homogenises, degasses and simultaneously heats the sample. Unlike the general-purpose ARE-250, the SR-500 allows for approximately twice the load capacity to accommodate the use of standard 500g solder paste containers. By simultaneously reducing the maximum speed to 1,200 rpm – which is entirely sufficient for solder pastes – the SR-500 is more cost-effective than all other Thinky mixers.
Product Description
The Thinky SR-500 enables highly efficient mixing without an agitator. Typical processing times are just a few minutes. The sample is also effectively degassed by the rotary movement.
The movement is a superposition of centrifugal and self-rotating movement. The ratio between the speed of the two movements has a major influence on the result.
The homogenisation of typical solder pastes is usually completed within 3-5 minutes.
The device has a very easy-to-use standard mode with a preset mixing programme that is suitable for the vast majority of solder pastes in 500 g containers. The step mode also allows you to determine the exact programme sequence yourself. The latter also allows you to store your profiles in up to five memory locations, each with five steps.
Tins up to a maximum diameter of 77 mm can be used. An adapter for 61 mm cans is included in the scope of delivery. For all other diameters, please check whether an adapter is available or needs to be manufactured.
