transmission grating
A wide range of transmission grids from RGL.Optical gratings, or diffraction gratings, are used as dispersive elements in a variety of applications. RGL offers a wide range of transmission gratings in various sizes.
Product Description
Optical gratings are used as dispersive elements in various application areas.
With transmission gratings, the light is diffracted as it passes through the substrate and the applied grating structure; an optical structure in line with the incident light beam is possible. The efficiency of the gratings can be optimised by using special substrate materials depending on the wavelength of use and AR coatings to minimise reflections.
Transmission gratings are typically used in monochromators and spectrometers.
In principle, all available flat gratings with groove numbers up to approx. 600 lines/mm and small to medium blaze angles can be used for the production of transmission gratings.
