Reach new heights in terms of pressure and temperatureThe Büchi novoclave high-pressure reactor is designed for extreme conditions of up to 500 bar and up to 500°C. Reactors with capacities ranging from 100 to 600 ml are suitable for supercritical reactions, hydrogenation processes, and material and catalyst testing. The reactors are temperature-controlled via an electric heater with a PID controller and solenoid valve-controlled water cooling.
Product Description
The new novoclave laboratory stirred autoclave is designed for extreme conditions, enabling operating conditions of up to 500 bar and 500°C. The vessels are available in stainless steel, Hastelloy, tantalum, titanium and other special alloys. Various vessels can be used with the novoclave system, with volumes ranging from 100 to 600 ml. The high-precision temperature control is realised by means of electric heating with a PID controller and an integrated solenoid valve-controlled water cooling system.
The latest generation of the “cyclone 075” magnetic drive is installed as standard. Stronger agitator drives can be fitted for highly viscous media. Thanks to the large number of openings in the cover plate, the cover structure can be customised to your requirements. A large selection of pressure reactor accessories is available for this purpose. Additional sensors can also be integrated and the respective data displayed and processed by the Büchi display units. This modular design allows the reactor to be customised for new specific applications, e.g. for dosing liquids, solids or gases.
Büchi uses special high-pressure fittings to securely connect the high-pressure fittings and sensors to the cover plate.
The electric heater in the novoclave has a modular design and inserts are available for smaller vessels. The heating is controlled by programmable PID controllers and has a moulded-in cooling system that is controlled by a solenoid valve. The additional cooling coils allow the heating jacket to cool down quickly.
The system can be fully remote-controlled using the optional Büchi bls 3 software.
Both the control unit of the stirrer and that of the electric heater can be integrated directly into the software. In addition, the pressure or other analogue signals can be acquired and recorded with the software using the Büchi analogue-digital converter bds XA2.

Options and Accessories
