Büchi Polyclave
Reliability and flexibility for a wide range of printing applications on steel and glass containersA flexible, modular pressure reactor system for laboratory and pilot plant applications, designed for volumes of 0.25–5 litres and pressures between 6 and 200 bar. The robust stainless steel frame with a polycarbonate door allows for safe pressure reactions using glass vessels. An optional vessel lift with a safety quick-release fastener ensures easy and safe handling.
Product Description
The Polyclave is the most versatile and flexible pressure reactor system from Büchi .
Four different vessel types can be used in the volume range from 250 ml to 5 litres.
Glass reactors can be used in the low pressure range, the very robust frame with polycarbonate protective door ensures the necessary safety and visibility.
Steel reactors can be used in the system for high-pressure applications.
The Polyclave is also flexible in terms of installation location, the frame is available as a table model or mobile model for floor-mounted fume cupboards.
For more convenient and even safer working, the Polyclave offers a safety quick-release fastener and a vessel lift in addition to the classic bolt connection.
There are also standard solutions for applications in hazardous areas and in the pharmaceutical sector. All relevant components such as sensors, agitator drive and magnetic coupling are designed for ATEX Zone 1.
FDA-compliant seals and other non-metallic components are available as standard.
Thanks to the large number of openings in the cover plate, the cover structure can be customised to your requirements. A large selection of pressure reactor accessories is available for this purpose. Additional sensors can also be fitted and the respective data displayed and processed by the Büchi display units.

• The robust frame with a mobile base allows for the attachment of large assemblies, such as distillation accessories, and can be used in fume cupboards or as a mobile unit as required.
• The Polyclave meets heightened safety and quality requirements with the ATEX agitator and components options, as well as the optional use of FDA-compliant materials.
• Temperature control can be achieved either via a double jacket or the optional electric heating system with integrated water cooling and PID controller.
• Manufactured to China Stamp or ASME certification.
