Syringe filler for the continuous, bubble-free transfer of pastes into syringes with Luer-Lock threads.Syringe fillers help you transfer your bubble-free medium into syringes without introducing any new air bubbles. The ARC-40H is suitable for 1–4 syringes of 3 to 10 ml; the ARC-55H is suitable for 1–2 syringes of 20–55 ml. The mixing cup is removed from the Thinky mixer and inserted directly into the syringe filler. The syringe filler forces the medium through the tip of the syringe from bottom to top under vacuum. Continuous operation with syringe changes is possible.
Product Description
The Thinky ARC-40H and ARC-55H are complementary devices for the Thinky mixers to transfer already mixed and degassed samples into syringes without bubbles. The entire process takes place under vacuum to avoid introducing new air bubbles into the syringes. The scope of delivery includes two special mixing beakers with very smooth and stable walls. Once the sample has been mixed and degassed in the special beaker, it is placed in the syringe filler and the plunger, which is fitted with several syringes with a Luer lock thread, is cranked down. The outside of the plunger is provided with a sealing lip that slides against the container wall and thus seals the medium against the atmosphere. All but one syringe must be sealed from above with the enclosed sealing caps. One syringe is fitted with a non-return valve cap. The hose end of a vacuum pump is then placed on the valve cap and all syringes are evacuated simultaneously, including the space above the medium surface. The plunger is then cranked down further and presses down on the medium, which is now pressed evenly into the screwed-on syringes from bottom to top. As soon as the syringes are full enough, you can unscrew the syringes and screw on new ones. These can then also be filled until the container is empty. Continuous operation is therefore possible.
Finally, the plunger can be placed in one of the two cleaning containers supplied, together with the previously removed small parts such as seals etc., and filled with solvent. The cleaning container can be rotated in a thinky mixer. The vast majority of impurities with residual medium can be removed quickly and easily in this way.
