Büchi metal-free, inert pressure reactor systems
Büchi metal-free, inert pressure reactor systems
Corrosion? – Not an issue with inert Büchi systems; all components in contact with the product are metal-free and virtually chemically inert. The inert Büchi pressure reactor systems are operated with a range of interchangeable glass or steel/enamel pressure reactors. All materials in contact with the product are non-metallic, enabling a wide variety of aggressive chemical reactions to be carried out in a corrosion-resistant environment.
Product Description
The proven Büchi laboratory and pilot reactors are also available as metal-free / inert versions:
– ecoclave inert
– polyclave inert
– versoclave inert (only available with glass-lined steel vessels)
– kiloclave inert (only available with glass-lined steel vessels)
By combining inert plastics such as PEEK, PTFE and PFA with glass reactors or glass-lined reactors, the systems offer high acid resistance and prevent contamination or the influence of metal parts on the chemical reactions.
For higher pressure and temperature ranges, the systems are supplemented with high-alloy components made of tantalum or titanium.
For more viscous applications, Büchi offers a magnetic drive with fully ceramic components in contact with the product with a torque of 250 Ncm. Based on the proven Büchi steel magnetic couplings, which are also used in tantalum or titanium versions for higher pressures.
All glass-lined reactors are also available with sight glasses for visual process control or as a level indicator
The hydraulic reactor lift of the Kiloclave inert with swivelling function provides the necessary safety, especially for larger pressurised reactors.
Thanks to the large number of openings in the cover plate, the cover structure can be customised to your requirements. A large selection of pressure reactor accessories is available for this purpose. Additional sensors can also be attached and the respective data displayed and processed by the Büchi display units. This modular design allows the reactor to be customised for new specific applications, e.g. for dosing liquids, solids or gas.
By using FDA-compliant seals, pharmaceutical and food applications are also possible with inert Büchi systems. There are also standard items for applications in hazardous areas. All relevant components, such as sensors, agitator drive and magnetic coupling are designed for ATEX Zone 1.
