Gamry EIS Box 1010
Gamry EIS Box 1010
The EIS Box consists of a Gamry Interface 1010 potentiostat/galvanostat/ZRA as the base unit, combined with an 8-channel multiplexer for the sequential impedance analysis of batteries (max. 12 V cell voltage). The EIS Box 1010 enables the detailed characterisation of multiple batteries using the sophisticated method of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) in an intuitive manner, whilst delivering reliable results at high throughput. This efficiently accelerates tasks in quality assurance, materials development and fundamental research into electrochemical energy storage systems.
Product Description
With the EIS Box 1010, the Gamry Interface 1010 Potentiostat/Galvanostat/ZRA built into it becomes a powerful multi-channel instrument with which you can run the electrochemical operations of the active channel on up to 8 electrochemical cells in sequence. With the EIS Box 1010, you can charge and discharge the cells on the channels, especially in conjunction with an additional external battery tester, and sequentially characterise a test object with a defined state of charge (SOC) on one channel in detail for its loss mechanisms using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Sequences can be carried out repeatedly and automatically, monitored in a local network and the desired increased throughput of long-term experiments can be achieved.
The EIS Box 1010 is not suitable for simultaneous multi-channel system experiments with high temporal resolution or with many different operations per channel; instead, multi-channel potentiostats are recommended.
