Potentiostat / Galvanostat / ZRA Gamry Interface 5000
Potentiostat / Galvanostat / ZRA Gamry Interface 5000
The Interface 5000 potentiostat/galvanostat/ZRA is a compact, cost-effective system for material development and performance testing of batteries, supercapacitors and fuel cells. In a direct comparison with the Interface 1010, the Potentiostat / Galvanostat / ZRA Interface 5000 delivers a higher current of ± 5A. The maximum available working electrode potential is ±6 V. The additional electrometer allows simultaneous monitoring of both half-cells of a battery, a supercapacitor or a fuel cell when using an embedded reference electrode, including the entire cell, in a single experiment. This time saving allows additional experiments to be scheduled.
Product Description
With 6 measuring ranges and 2 amplification stages, a total of 8 decades are available for measuring currents with the Interface 5000. For material development and condition testing of batteries, supercapacitors and fuel cells, everything is covered with maximum flexibility. Thanks to state-of-the-art microelectronics combined with decades of experience in the design of potentiostats, the Interface 5000 is a powerful yet cost-effective measuring system.
Whether you want to cycle your small batteries or polarise large electrode surfaces, the Interface 5000 offers ± 5 A current at ± 6 V at the working electrode. The Interface 5000, like all other Gamry potentiostats, has a floating ground so that you can test an earthed working electrode or several working electrodes, e.g. for bipotentiostatic measurements in a common electrolyte, without having to worry about ground loops. Like all Gamry systems, the Interface 5000 has exceptionally low noise and hum.
The system can realise precise impedance measurements in the range from 10 µHz to 1 MHz without additional modules or costly accessories. The Accuracy Contour Plot (ACM) provides a detailed view of the performance of the system depending on the specifications of the samples. The multi-channel system of up to eight individually removable channels in the Interface Power Hub increases throughput. The ability to remove individual channels to connect remote measuring cells means that long measuring cables and the associated limitations in the available bandwidth of the system can be avoided.
