Product Description
The Thinky ARM-310 enables highly efficient mixing without an agitator. Typical processing times are just a few minutes. The sample is also effectively degassed by the centrifugal force acting on it and the movement is a superposition of centrifugal and self-rotating movement. The ratio between the speed of the two movements has a major influence on the result.
The intrinsic rotation always accounts for 40% of the centrifugal movement. Due to this relatively high proportion, the sample is already strongly circulated even at low speeds without deforming it too much. As a result, heating is generally lower than with comparable devices with a lower transmission ratio.
The entire process is programme-controlled, i.e. you can programme up to five consecutive steps, each consisting of a mixing step and a degassing step. Up to five programmes can be saved.
The appliance has a so-called “Std mode” in which only the memory location and the mixing time can be changed. Step sequences can be programmed in “Step mode”.
In contrast to the ARE-250, the ARM-310 has a plastic outer housing, improved cooling and only a pure mixing mode. However, degassing is also carried out in mixing mode, but the heating of the medium is higher compared to devices with degassing mode.
This makes it the low-cost entry-level Thinky planetary mixer.
